The group in order to synergise its International business operations has included all its international trading operations under STEER OVERSEAS PRIVATE LIMITED. (SOPL)

The group started its business activities way back in the 60’s in the field of Iron Ore Mining. However the real transformation from just a mining company to a Group with activities in Manufacturing, Mining, Civil Construction, Warehousing and other value added facilities started in the mid nineties. Since then the group has expanded rapidly and currently has its presence in various businesses with an annual turnover in excess of USD 200 million.

With a strong backing and exposure to the international market the group has made a consious effort in making Steer Overseas Pvt. Ltd. (SOPL) its export and Import arm with all international trade being carried under the same banner.

Keeping Global Trade as fulcrum of its activities; SOPL undertook forward integration and incorporated all allied activities related to mining/ warehousing, procurement and processing of materials, taking it to its final journey outside the country by way of Export.
