A Geological Survey reports the deposits of minerals at the mines.
Holes are drilled to plant dynamite which is blasted to break large stone plate having iron contents, in to pieces called Boulders.
After the blast, Excavators are used to move the Boulders.
The Boulders are then broken into pieces suitable for crushing called Lumps.
Lumps are then crushed in Crushers to make different sizes of Iron Ores which is called CLO (Calibrated Lump Ore) . Conveyor belts attached to crusher which carry the ore through sieves thus segregating CLO of different sizes and Fines.
The major buyers of Iron Ore Fines at present are China, Japan and Korea.
